- Reading Council continues to support a review of its boundary if the Government agrees to create a new ‘Ridgeway’ council
- Moving these Reading suburbs into the town fits Government criteria that LGR proposals should be based on ‘sensible economic geography’

- First of three community events for Black parents to be held in February
- Aims to address racial inequalities and increase engagement between Black parents and the Council
- Part of wider Council plan that recognises that children of Black parents can see worse outcomes as a result of systemic problems.

- Pinecroft rated 'Outstanding' in all three areas
- The home "contributes to significantly improved outcomes" for children and young people
- "Welcoming atmosphere" and "highly ambitious manager" praised
